Description

Berlin's oldest public park has been offering a welcome respite from city life since 1840, but only since the late 1940s has it become hilly. War debris was heaped up here at the time to form two mounds, the higher of which is Mont Klamott and stands 78m tall. Visitors can enjoy sprawling lawns for lazing, tennis courts, a half-pipe perfect for skaters, nearby beer gardens and an outdoor cinema.
