Description

In the late 90s, Potsdamer Platz made its grand return, in what was Europe's largest building project. Renowned architects such as Renzo Piano and Helmut Jahn were instrumental in the urban renewal that brought the area back to life. What was once divided by the Berlin Wall was transformed into a vibrant city quarter, with a wide range of features including hotels, theatres and cinemas, apartments, offices, and museums. Among the highlights of the area is the eye-catching glass tent of the Sony Center, as well as the breathtaking Panoramapunkt observation deck.
