Description
Waterside promenade in Kreuzberg
Originally named Kottbusser Ufer, Berlin's Paul-Lincke-Ufer runs along the Landwehr Canal, and is a popular waterside promenade in Kreuzberg. It is a scenic stretch between Kottbusser Brücke and the Treptow Canal.
Paul-Lincke-Ufer was named to honor Carl Emil Paul Lincke, a composer and theater conductor, the "father" of the Berlin operetta. There are several places of interest along the way, including the Landwehr Canal itself, as well as the Umspann Werk and Boule Platz.
