One of Berlin's best streets for things to do

Oranienburger Straße is one street you will not want to miss in Berlin. A long line of things to see begin with classy entertainment at one end, and ends with historic ruins at the other. In between expect to find everything from classy boutiques to hip clubs and restaurants.

Oranienburger Straße stretches just over a mile between the Tacheles Cultural Center and fashionable Hackesche Höfe. You literally cannot walk past one door which does not have a bar, restaurant, store, or something interesting to see strolling down this avenue. The adjacent streets and alleys are also full of stores, cafes, and beer gardens to take a load off at. No trip to the city can take you far past this impressive byway.
