Description

Since the early 14th century, this historic Gothic brick church in Berlin has welcomed worshippers, making it one of the city's oldest surviving places of worship. In the vestibule, a 22-meter long Dance of Death fresco, inspired by a 15th-century plague, leads to a relatively plain interior featuring numerous art treasures. The oldest of these is the bronze baptismal font from 1437, which is supported by three dragons. Also noteworthy is the baroque alabaster pulpit constructed by Andreas Schlüter in 1703.
