Former bunker, now a watchtower

The Flaktürm is the sole survivor of two concrete bunkers used for antiaircraft guns in the Second World War. It can be found in the Volkspark Humboldthain, a park in the Gesundbrunnen neighborhood of Berlin.

The Flaktürm is today well preserved, but no longer in military use. Instead, the locals climb it to admire beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding area.
