Description

The Brandenburg Gate, which served as a symbol of division during the Cold War, now stands as a testament to Germany's reunification. Its designer, Carl Gotthard Langhans, was inspired by the Acropolis in Athens when creating the stunning triumphal arch, which was finished in 1791 as the entrance into the royal city.
