The marvelous Italian Renaissance–style former royal court church (1905) serves three purposes: house of worship, museum, and concert hall. Its extravagance can be seen in the exuberant gilding and the marble-and-onyx altar as well as the 7269-pipe Sauer organ and the impressive royal sarcophagi. Climb up the 267 steps to the gallery in order to witness a breathtaking view of the city.
