Description
Historic, green neighborhood
Berlin's Baumschulenweg is a neighborhood of the Treptow-Köpenick district. It is named to celebrate the Späth'schen Baumschule, a historic nursery, opened in 1720 by Christoph Späth, and already renowned world-wide.
The northeastern part of Baumschulenweg is a densely populated residential area, with many sports facilities. The rest of the neighborhood is less populated, and green, featuring attractions such as Späth-Arboretum, and the Grünzug Heidekampgraben
